Could someone tell me what is the difference between "Threads I'm Involved In' and 'Subscribed Threads'.

There's a question listed under my 'Subscribed Threads' that I've never even seen before from months ago.

"Threads I'm involved in" are those questions you have asked or those you have given an answer to. 

"Subscribed threads" are those you have shown an interest in by clicking on that button; you didn't ask the question or give an answer.  Maybe in the case you cite, you accidentally clicked on the button.
