does any one think that the news is propaganda ?

Just curious but does any one think that the news on the television is propaganda on behalf of anybody like say the rich people that run the companys that make weapons ?

well all the news reports i've seen regarding weapons has been against them, so i wouldn't really call that effective propaganda. However, conspiracy theories are entertaining so lets say it's possible for entertainment's sake.

TJ may be right about having to be even handed Liberalism but I still think there is an element a Propaganda. I can remember was when Arthur Scargil's Socialist Labour Party (or what ever it is called) first stood a candidate at a by-election, he got a couple of hundred votes; the BBC reported "how few" votes he got, putting the emphasis throughout the whole report that Arthur Scargil was a spent force; Syk News on the other hand reported "how many" votes he got putting the emphasis on "watch it or the Red's will be coming". Two different conclusions from the same facts!
