router cable

Hi i have a router downstairs and 2 cables running from it to 2 pc's upstairs, i have got another pc and was wondering if i could connect it to the router without running another cable upstairs? can i use a hub of some sorts on 1 of the cables to split it in to 2?and if so is it fairly easy

however - just to see
I've been running two PCs over 1 feed cable for months now.
used bw/wb and bnw/wbn for machine 1
ow/wo and gw/wg for machine 2
terminated to a double socket .... works a propper treat it does and no mistake guv
I get on average 62Mb/s between the two machines
and 79Mb/s to the server
against the rules ... but shortish run .... and no problems
however - just to see
