It is driving my husband and his work mates mad trying to remember what the following advert was for:- The man goes out on a stormy night, I think he has to go in a boat, to the pub and when he arrives, he says" I've never known a night like it and I aint looking forward to the journey back" Can any one please help?
Thanks, but its not Mackesons either. It has nothing to do with ' Looks good, tastes good and does you good' The lines in the advert are - ' I've never known a night like it and I aint looking forward to the journey back'!!!Any other suggestions? please!
I am 100% sure it was one of the earlier adverts for carling black label,
it started off with this stormy scene wil the old salty dog fisherman fighting a giant squid then bursting through the pub door and saying
"I've never known a night like it, and I ain't looking forward to the journey home neither"
then it cuts to the two guys to say "I bet he drinks Carling Black Label" and the end cutscene was to show a pub on stilts in a boating lake full of row boats for hire
