I've just read that link but still don't understand what you actually get. I'm thinking that you basically get freeview with the option to download (and pay for!) extra programmes. Is that right?
I'm thinking of getting Sky but if this will be cheaper...
I've just read further and can see that there is Bronze, Silver and Gold packages at 13.70, 17.61 and 19.57 per month - where does the 6.85 per month come into it?
Can anyone find a list of channels/services that you get with these packages 'cos I sure as hell can't find one.

So put your postcode in the Freeview site, and you should see a list of available channels:

So, for 6.85 per month you get a hard drive recorder and freeview channels. The alternative is to buy a cheap freeview pvr, with no subscription.
But you do get the option to pay for extras on a pay as you go or monthly basis
