This morning I got a letter from a debt collecting agency about the parking ticket. There is a tear-off strip for me to return, giving details of the driver.
I'm sending it back, asking them to provide evidence of who the driver was.

Ah, bless you Mrs O for updating me!
So they've obviously gone to the trouble of contacting Swansea to trace you. That's when I lost my nerve and paid up.

lol mcfluff, no it's me, not my son.

I got a ticket in November from one of those private firms and I'm not paying it.
They can get the reg. keepers details from Swansea, which they have done.
All I have to do now is (truthfully) state that several people use the car and ask THEM to provide evidence of who was driving it.
I'm under no legal obligation to provide them with details of the driver.
