Ive got a really boring bathroom; white suite and completely tiled in white, and really want to take away the clinical look it has. Ive tried looking for tile transfers but can only find cheesy ones (teapots, butterflies etc!) Ive thought about using tile paint and stencilling some tiles though I suppose unless I wanted roses or ivy i'd have to make my own stencil! does anyone know of any easy/quick to use items I can jazz up with? I was thinking along the lines of using fuscia or bright orange to warm it up a bit!

.........have you thought about making up small patterns and designs out of the millions of tiles available now?
There's no problem in sticking them onto the existing tiling.........would give an interesting 3D "relief" effect....to break up the 2D plain-ness
If it were my bathroom I would get brightly coloured accessories, hot pink towels with matching fake flowers, toothbrush holders and pictures on the wall which all incorporate the hot pink theme.

Of course you could do the same thing with any colour!

thanks for all of your answers - even no knowledge (- I think lol) Excellent idea builder! I love that one, and because my existing tiles are an awkward size (8x6 inches) I think this would work better than transfers which don't seem to be available in any suitable size to match! thanks again!
Grout comes in different colours so you could say use a pink grout if you're wanting to jazz things up with fuschia towels and accessories. Something which sets off a white bathroom is gold and white coloured taps, they warm it up and the bathroom looks classy.
I too have a completely white bathroom . It even has white floor tiles and I visited Ikes and bought the circle rugs in bright red and red towels then I put a red vase on sill Looks great and when I am bored I can just change towels rug etc for a new look .

thanks for the last two too! Was thinking about having floor tiled in a bright colour but I'd probably get fed up of it so looked all over for some NICE bright lino - it doesnt exist! havent had chance to check out 3d tile effect suggestion yet but I'm still liking the sound of it!
