Can you get an address from a phone number?

Don't know where to put this really but decided on here! I have the number of a car leasing company from a message on my answerphone. I didn't quite catch the name of the company and would like to find out their full name and address before I ring them! Is this possible?

do you have a code number? you could google that to find out what area it's in & then do a search for car rental/leasing in that area on the Thompson local or BT business directory & see if a number matches up.
(I'm sure Ethel will give you a better answer or someone else!)

Phone them but pretend you are ringing for someone else who needs their full name and address to write to them, simple.

Its an 0844 number! I know the company is in Leeds but when I've searched for what I thought they said nothing comes up.

and a few came up including

just google the number, if it's a business then you will almost certainly get the answer

Yep that must be it!! Thank you! I thought he had said ANT leasing and when I searched for leasing companies in Leeds nothing like it came up.
