like a prayer perfume

Can anyone tell me what  perfume the sleeve to madonnas like a prayer album was scented with?

It was an oil.
Not a branded perfume.

It was patchouli (sp ? ) oil ....... easily picked up in the essential oil section of Health Food shops, "New Age" establishments etc., and the smell most associated with "hippies" !!!

Not only the original vinyl album, but also the CD packaging was impregnated with patchouli ...... 16 years on, the CD still smells (have just checked) which isn't bad going (wish I could find a perfume that lasts a fraction of that time !). However, later CD issues don't seem to smell.

My tape still smells too, I thought it was like patchouli, but it doesn't smell like the oil i have at home, must be down to the age of it.
