Any unusual cats' names? - and the reason behind it - so far I've got
Tin Opener (he answers to the sound of it)
Trotsky (a 3-legged moggie who moves somewhere between a walksky and a runsky)
ASBO (self explanatory)
The Magnificent Gunnar Hamundarson Of Hlidarend(owned by a pal of mine in Iceland - the country not the shop - not sure of the reason for this one.

Harry-Wragg............I don't have any cats at all now due to my health issues :(
Not all of those cats named were with me at the same time, and I have had many, many more over the years that just had boring names.lol I am a sucker for a sob story and would always take in cats such as strays and ones that people no longer wanted,I also fostered cats for our local cat shelter for a few years.
We have 5 cats

Tyson ( A big brute he is)
Trixie (We liked the name)
Trudy (Again we like the name)
Tara( Nice name) -She walks around like she owns the place. She has cattitude!!!

Finally Jackson - He is Black and White - (After the michael Jackson song) and he was born on Duckwoth Farm,Nr Blackburn (As in Jack Duckworth from Corrie)

My wife used to have a cat called Ceefa. (As in C for cat)
my cat is Colin. we like... mature names for our pets!

I knew someone with a cat called Sponge because she was a stray, and used to come over to sponge food from them.
i used to have a lovely (but vicious) tortie named Clarissa, after the TV show, Clarissa explains it all.

My current cat is called Pan (after the god of the forest)
and his brother, who is now owned by my neighbour, is named Pyewacket, after the witches cat in the old film Bell, book and Candle.
My daughter's neighbour's cat is always twisting around my daughter's legs, often almost tripping her up - they don't know her real name so they have given her the name 'velcro' she comes to it too.
I've got Heathcliffe now (from Gone with the Wind and he was a rescued stray so it just kinda fitted).

Family cats have been Tessie, Mitchell, Jasper, Jinks, Monty, Dilwyn and Pooch.

My friend has a cat called frangelico and another friend had one called Fat Boy.
Hiya, Harry. My daft son IS OK - ta for the compliment!! Maybe it's his mum who's the daft one!! 5 cats : Andromeda, Cassiopaeia, Cleopatra, Gavin (Cleo's mum) and Mischa. We had Montgomery (Monty) too, but he crossed the Rainbow Bridge back in July. He was Cleo's brother.
We keep pigs here on the farm and although we don't usually name them, daft son called on Colin (he loved to roll on his back and get his tummy tickled!) and we had one sow whom I called Delia - I won't go into the reasons, as her namesake might sue me! She tasted great, though!!
I have Florence & Daisie now which are quite normal. Have had Ermintrude, Dylan (Magic Roundabout theme appearing here) and Eric so nothing unusual. Daisie answers to Madame Mim though.
I once looked after a fairly butch tom cat called Lily!
