I'm using an hp printer which I'm quite happy with, but just lately, when I've been printing off some sheets for my son, the type fades - as you'd probably get if the ink catridge was running out. It's not, and the printer's kept dust-free, etc., so does anyone know what's wrong with it, and how to put it right? Thanks.
Ink cartridges usually have a breather hole of some type on the top, one for each colour. If blocked, the ink can begin to come out slowly because air can't go inside to fill the gap where the ink was. Could your breathers be blocked?
Hello Ice maiden, could you please tell us how you solved the problem, I have only just seen your post and have the same problem with my printer. Thanks.
