I don;t understand why the quizz questions can't be asked nor answered on here, that is what the site is for. can someone explain how another person can dictate and control ab content?

He doesn't dictate, he asks. It is very annoying to work really hard for an answer, and then find someone else has posted the answer. If you can't answer a question, leave a blank. Or try the fun quiz from the same source. As it happens, I can't find this yet, either.

The point of the question setter's request is this: if a person doesn't know an answer and asks a friend and gets an answer (be it right or wrong) it isn't posted on the Net for all to see, which is what happens when a question is asked and answered on AB. So if you do get an answer, detective, then anyone who cares to look gets it too so nothing gained. Also, many people have stopped doing the quiz as having spent weeks looking for an elusive answer it is freely given away. As Carrieann says, leave your answer sheet blank or try GFQ which is a lot easier. If you are really stuck then there is another site where you can ask for a hint which may enable you to come up with the right answer.

We have the same problem on Quiz-Zone, especially from a GB quizzer called "Seraphim". I look at the GBQ each month & ask the QZ moderators to remove any requests for answers I know to be from GBQ.

It spoils quizzes for those who are genuinely interested in doing their own research, so I reiterate 2planks & carrieann's request
