Loons?
loons (mine were green - I probably looked rdiculous....)
...or ridiculous even:o)
ah memories..... I had purple velvet and my bf had burgundy ones and wore then with rainbow tanktops ( matching) we thought we looked cool.
hi Naomi, come to think of it, I also had a pair of velvet loons - thought I was the bees-knees, especially when they were teamed with my red Afghan jacket with long fronds at the wrists. Trouble was, when it rained, I smelled of dead sheep....
I had brushed denim and when it rained it was like wading through washing.
Hi Davethedog LOL I'd forgotten about that - I used to get tide-marks just below the knees:o)
Oh the Afghans!! I remember teaching in the days when they were high fashion. The kids used to come in after the rain and hang them up, and they would steam..the classroom used to smell like a sheep farm within a few minutes.
Loons..I had a pair of floral ones!!!
