Freeview and Freesat

I want to buy a new digital tv which incorporates Freeview. I already have a connection via dish for Freesat and what I want to know is can I watch both these mediums. At the moment, on my old analogue receiver in the bedroom I get Freesat via the dish but when I connect the Freeview box as well I can't get it to work . Any ideas please ?

Are you in an area that can recieve a digital signal via an aerial? If the answer is yes then your new tv will work fine.
