Advent Notebook

I have recently bought an advent note book. Each time i boot up i have in the middle of the screen a little icon that takes you to different applications. its is annoying and hovers over the page if you happen to place the pointer near to it. You can exit it but have to do it evry time. Can any one tell me what it is in the start up so i can get rid of it once and for all. Thanks Soo ....

just remove the shortcut from the startup folder in the main menu

better ... move the shortcut to your desktop ... you will need some of the options

Thanks for your reply... However my problem is that in the start up it isnt obvious what it is.... so i have no idea which one to delete. Soo

It's the one that looks like the floating desktop icon (greeny plasticy icon _ can't remember the name)
it's in the start menu (or vista equivalent) | programs | startup (there shouldn't be more than a couple in there)

if you can't decide ... write the names of all the stuff in there and we'll choose for you
