you'll probably have to decant them into clear plastic containers if they're in tins now or of large quantities, are they the ring pull kind? i don't think it's changed, but they'll ask you to taste them and they'd be fine in your hand luggage as long as you treated them as liquids through security. as most things, it'll probably vary with the airline / airport so best to double check all the same.

aww if your baby will be 4 months in may, congratulations on your new arrival! :)
Baby food, of any type, is permitted in hold luggage.

With liquids, gels, pastes, etc (taken as cabin luggage), you're normally limited to no more than 100ml per container, with all containers having to be placed inside a clear, 'sandwich-sized' bag.

However there's an exception made for baby food. Quote:
"Liquid baby food or sterilised water, sufficient for the journey, can be taken through airport security. The accompanying adult will be required to verify by tasting.
