Vanishing on line tesco shopping

Often when i shop online with Tesco, sometimes my items vanish! I know for a fact that I have put them in the 'basket', but they never reach me, when i check the receipt i havent paid for them either, but i know i definately did put them in.
Does this happen to anyone else?

it happens when i shop with warehouse or coast or princilples online, no idea why though, i think its me !

Try printing off the e-mail they send you when place your order. At least you will know in advance what you are going to, and what you are not going to receive.

i dont have a printer, but i did think about keeping the email they send me and then going through it, but I'd have to write down everything I ordered, as i'd never remember everything I ordered. It drives me mad...either that or I am mad!

oo er no thats not happened to me before! do you mean groceries?

i'm sure you're not doing anything wrong but what are your settings online for the 'alternatives' they offer if your first choice is out of stock? are the items missing not listed at the start of your delivery receipt as saying they weren't available?

they usually tell you what's missing before asking you to sign to ok the order, so if they're not saying it, charging you or printing it on your receipt it must be something to do with your account rather than the delivery end of the transaction. try sending them an email saying it's happened a few times now and you've had to then go to the store to buy the items missing, which is defeating the object of delivery...you may at least get some vouchers :)

The exact same thing happens to me sometimes but with Asda! I will swear blind I added something to my shopping list but it then it seems to have disappeared the next time I log in to add some more shopping.
I think the Gremlins take them out of the trolley whilst in cyber space just to confuse us :o)

Same thing happens to my clothes when I shop at Tesco's.

I keep getting odd things happening when I type, and I realise now it is when I accidentally brush my wrist on the laptop finger pad thingy.

Are you doing the same and deleting?

i wish the computer gremlins did it to me, it might stop me buying the double chocolate chip (with extra chocolate) cheesecake covered in chocolate sauce!!

i dont think its the alternatives that are a prob, because i'm given alternatives for other items, it must be the gremlins then. Good excuse when my husband wants to know why his razors arent there, but my chilli crisps and chocolate are :-)
