my passport is a 10 passport date of issue is 30 june 01 date of expiry id 04 december 06 and am travelling to america on 22 april 05 for a week is this ok

What do you mean by "a 10 passport"?

Is it a British passport?

Is it a machine-readable one?

If it is a machine-readable valid British passport which expires in december 2006 you should be able to travel to the USA (if this is what you mean by "America") under the visa waiver scheme (by filling in the forms they will give you on the palne).

If it is not machine-readable you will need a visa and it is a bit late now if you are travelling on Friday.
