I've done some digging, and whilst vertical ridges CAN be due to poor vitamin absorption or iron deficiency, Horizontal ridges as you describe seem to be attributed to 2 things, either using nail tips/wraps which prevent air getting to the nail, or more likely, 3 or four souces attribute horizontal ridges to stress. So, looks like you have a good excuse for a massage and lots of chilling out!!
