Sorrento hotels
We would like to go to Sorrento in September. Can anyone recommend a hotel, don't want to pay the earth. We are early 60s but fit and do not object to walking.

the grand hotel aminta is gorgeous. A lovely place to stay.
http://www.aminta.it/ i went a few years ago now upon the recomendation of friends who went every year.
I also know of 2 other friends who went around the same time, one of whom went for his daughters wedding there.
Its above the town and theres a rather steep little path down from the hotel but they do also run a courtesy bus.
The views are amazing too. We had a view from our room straight across the bay to vesuvius, its stunning

I've been drooling over La Minervetta for ages.
