How Much do Nursery Nurses get paid in kent?
2 Answers
Hi,
Are there any qualified Nursery Nurses in Kent working in a private Nursery Setting who wouldn't mind telling me their hourly wage.
I have been out of work for 7 years having my own family and I have an interview tommorow for a Nursery Nurse position. On the application form, it asks what hourly pay I expect, and I dont know what is the norm.
I am fully qualified and I am 36 years old.
Would around 7 per hour be about right?

My cousin runs a nursery in East Kent; I've just asked her and she pays her staff between 7 and 12 per hour, depending on skills, experience and qualifications (her 7 per hour girls are currently students so aren't fully qualified yet).
Hope that helps! Good luck with the interview x
