Hi everyone,

Just after a bit of advice really, cut a long story short:

My stationery car was reveresed in to by someone visiting family in my street, he drove off out of street with lights off. managed to get his contact number, he came back and said he didnt relise wat he had done. He offered me cash to get my car fixed there and then but i said i would get qutoes and contact him, i did, he didnt like the quotes and i am now going threw a claims handler to get my car fixed. however the driver is now denying this ever took place!!! and my cliams handler said it is likely to go to small claims court. just wondering can he actually get away with this and what to expect at court as I am really nervous about the whole thing!

thanks

OK - presumably your claims handler has decided you have a good case or they would not be going to the additional expense of taking the Third Party to court . Presumably therefore you have an independent witness who has given a statement confirming what you say has happened ? If so you should not have a problem.
