This, too is tragic !!

It probably didn't make it into the UK news but last Tuesday a man [?] dropped his 4 yr old daughter off the West Gate Bridge in Melbourne, in front of his two sons 6 & 8. The child was rescued from the water after a 58 metre drop but later died in hospital while her mother and grandmother waited for her to be dropped off at a new child care facility - from the little info released I understand the family was breaking up and this was his reaction !!!!

yeah was in irish news too very tragic indeed. God knows what would drive someone to be so cruel

This is more than sad, isn't it? What on earth had that poor little mite done to deserve such a terrible end? I don't doubt that the father wasn't of sound mind when he decided to "get back at his wife" - but I dispute that any amount of anger or depression would make a loving father do that to his child. I hope they lock him away forever, and thast he gets his just desserts in jail.
