Sorry, bit of a gross subject. I recently had a long-standing verucca treated and supposedly removed at the chiropodist. I took about 5 trips to her. Anyway, the last time I went she said it's all gone now but it still looked like it was there to me. She told me it's definitely all gone and what I can see is just dry skin from where it was. So I have been trying to get rid of the skin myself with a foot file, however, everytime i file so far (gently) it starts to bleed, so I leave it alone then the next morning when I get out of the shower it will be there again raised up like a verucca is! It's annoying as it is on the inside of the toe next to the big toe. Any suggestions?

The quickest method is a spray from a liquid nitrogen canister. Some doctors keep one and most verrucas drop off after one or two applications. There are other good methods but very hard to find nowadays but the nitrogen is still easy to find.

I had one on the side of my big toe but having really sensitive feet i didn't want to go to the doctors, i went to boots and bought a pack of these platers especially for verucca removal, you put a fresh one on every 2 days and then a cover afterwards for another 2 days i am now verruca free! Can't remember what it was called exactly but it came in a green small box, i will defintely use these again if i get one. I use to file mine and it used to bleed before i got these plasters and it was definitely still there. If there are black small dots on it then it is still a virus but mine retracted after about a week so i would have thought yours would have too.

see another doctor get a second opinion
