Can't you tell it's a Sunday night ?- just wondering when people started to go grey? I'm 44 and haven't got any grey yet, though my best friend started going grey in her teens. Must have got good genes!
I started to go grey when my first son was born. I was 23 then .By the time I was 30 I looked like 60 , thank goodness for hair dyes .Now I'm ** I don 't look in the mirror at all, too depressing.
I have naturally fair hair, and have been quite lucky really, I've had greys for a number of years, but they didn't show, now that they do, I highlight my hair about every 2 months and it still looks fine, when it doesn't I'll go for a full colour, but it's ok so far! I'm nearly 60 now, so I'm quite happy!! not planning to join the blue rinse brigade ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are two landmarks, one is when the first ones arrive but then when they start to take over, as some progress very slowly and others quite suddenly. Apart from a few in my early 20s the temples were greyish by 40 and has now worked its way round to the back but very little above. My mother had white temples in her 40s and little more 30 years later as both the rate and pattern vary for every person.
Lol Mrs O!
Pity I didn't put all the money I must be saving on hair dye in a pot - I'd be rich by now!
Makes me laugh when I'm walking down the road and a car comes up behind me and young blokes wolf whistle , bellow suggestions etc (I look good from behind! - 5ft 11 & size 12 lol) - they are in for a bit of a shock when they get past!
