SIA Qualified (Security Job)

I am looking for employment and came across an advertisment for a front of house security guard. I must be SIA qualified. Can anyone explain this qualification please? I fully appreciate that not knowing what this qualification is, means I'm probably wasting my time applying, but what the heck!!

thanks sunchime the second address you gave me makes me think that maybe it's worth applying as it seems th SIA qualification might be a somewhat recent introduction therefore reasonably easy to get.
