Every night after an hour of deep prayer and contemplation, I was allowed to taste the fruits of my labour. My body and soul have never experienced such a wonderful spiritual uplift and I left there truly contented, ready to face anything that the world could throw at me. I would highly recommend it, if only for the wine, a tonic in itself.
I went over to Taize in France.. It was very peaceful and i came back feeling very calm and in a way spiritual. I should say at this point i am not religious in the slightest, and dont go to church.
It was just nice to be in the french countryside, meeting lots of new people, exchanging ideas, away from modern humdrum and technology.

This is the link in english... it does look very religious, but it isnt ram it down your throat stuff. There is basically lots of singing to do- (3 times a day), which sounds like gregorian chant, and i really enjoyed. Dont have to take the words as religious just music.
They welcome people from every country and any religion, or no religion. Just need to enjoy meeting new people, and be open to new experiences! And evenings down at the retreat bar, with french red wine at stupid prices, chilling out and chatting!
