I've tried washing it with hot, soapy water and bleach, and I have stuck a lemon in there.

I have also tried putting a dish of bicarbonate of soda in. All to no avail.

Anyone have another suggestion please?

TIA. x

Oh, just had another thought. Has anyone tried those fridge-fresheners you hang in the fridge, and did it work?

Thanks chums.

Al, it's difficult to describe. It's an unpleasant pong as soon as I open the door, but there's nowt gone off in there. It's really annoying me. LOL.

Thanks for replies folks.

Al, that thread is interesting. I might have a go with a piece of charcoal, I haven't tried that, or the lemon filled with salt. I've got a lime (all the lemons have gone in me hubby's G & Ts) so I might try that tonight.

Hey pasta lass, it's deffo coming from inside the fridge somewhere. As soon as I open the door - POW! it whacks me straight on the nose.

Al, I've checked the drain hole but it doesn't appear to be blocked.

Err .... nono. I can't plug it in cos the socket's behind the fridge and I can't reach it.
