I have long hair with a natural wave and however straight I get it either with hairdryer or straigtners if I go outside and the atmosphere is slightly damp the front ends go wavy!! However of course this doesn't happen when its blowdyred by my hairdresser. Any hints?? I use all the straigtening and smoothing products going!

Have you tried GHD straighteners?  They keep hair straight even in the damp atmosphere!

I have exactly the same problem (and I use GHD straighteners).  I find my hair tends to stay straighter if I straighten smaller sections at a time.  Lee Stafford has a range of straightening products and one of these is an anti-humidity spray which is meant to keep your hair from losing it’s straightness in damp conditions.  I’ve tried it and it does help, but doesn’t fully solve the problem.  I’ve also seen an advert for Garnier Fructis hair products that are meant to help keep your hair frizz free in such conditions too, they’re called sleek and something, but I’ve not tried them mainly because I’ve had difficulty finding them.

Have you tried John Frieda Frizz Ease? I prefer the light serum as the other are too heavy for my hair. But it works for me.

i straighten my hair often and have used many different products to try and tame it, including frizz ease (which i found ok) and Lee Stafford (which was good), i was sceptical at first as the product i am now using is fronted by Beyonce Knowles - who wears a wig! but the loreal strightening stuff...... the one in the pink bottle is fab. Really works for me.... maybe worth a try?

Thanks everyone.  I use John Frieda Frizz Ease everyday anyway! Looks like its GHDs and the Loreal straightening balm in the pink bottle it is then!

if you have problem hair like me  i dont bother with products or straightners i have my hair relaxed  it lasts 6to 8 months depending on hair type yours should last 8 to 9 months  cuase your hair isnt afro. but its brill i get up brush it  and go.perfectly straight. but it does cost, usaully 60 pounds upwards but its worth it.
