Thinking about abandoning the first test between West Indies and England for the footy. Doesn't kick off until 8:10 p.m. so I can stay with the Cricket for another half hour.
Odd as it may seem, Jan, I quite like going to the bookies. It's all part of the experience for me. The guy who owns the betting shop makes me a coffee, I give him all my money, and then all the dodgy old blokes wander in, so I leave.
I complained to my local bookie that it's not women friendly in there. He asked what did I want, pot pourri, fresh flowers and net curtains? I said no to the net curtains.
I do like going in there but only with my hubby. They do nice hot chocolate.
Oh, I wish I didn't have to watch it!! I was looking forward to "Foyle's War" but now this footie's on & my son is glued to the box. That's why I'm on here.....
There'll be another battle of Stanley Park for the signature of Harry Redknapp's missus at this rate. Poor refereeing (where have we heard that before?) and a poor game in general.
