a myth

Just done a crossword in the Daily Mail, and the clue was myth and the answer was legend.

does this mean that Legend never existed he was in fact a product of our imagination.

Just looked the two words up and it said:-Myths are oral or written records of invented or fabulous stories.Legends are traditional stories of marvellous characters recounting the deeds and bravery of saintly human beings. One things for sure you won't forget him in a hurry. He will be back soon, you'll see.
