There have been a couple of threads about Jade, zzxxee. I think we generally feel compassion for her in spite of whether we like her or not. A dreadful thing for anyone to go through, especially someone so young with little children.

yes I agree, in these upsetting times I hope that she gets the support that she needs for the sake of her sons. She is possibly the biggest non-celebrity there is but even so her boys should not be held to account for that.

mine too, never really liked her but I hope she can beat it. its a terrible illness.

Despite what most people think of her, she's had a truly awful life and now she has this to contend with.
My heart goes out, especially to those 2 poor children.

I think you are right zzxxee. I read today that it has spread to her liver and bowel. I'm not a fan of hers but I do think it's very sad and I feel sorry for her little boys.

Today news says there is a slight glimmer of hope because they are trying a different drug. She must be going through hell, poor girl.

Perhaps we should be remembering all the cancer sufferers along with Jade. At least the publicity about Jade makes us stop and think about others.

thats so true loftylottie2, i got quite upset when i heard her cancer had spread but my hubby said why?
i tried to explain to him but as he said what about all the other cancer victims, and that is so true.

As I said in a previous thread she may be famous for being the way she is but no one deserves this. I really feel for her and her little boys.

I truly hope Jade gets through this awful time & goes on to see her two boys grow up.

She doesn't deserve what's happening to her at the moment, neither does her family.

smudge that wont happen unfortunately. she is terminally ill. the new medication they put her on only works on 10% of people and it only extends life by around 3 months anyway (if i read it sorrectly it could have been 9 months)

Where there is life there is hope. Stranger things have happened where people have overcome illnesses against all odds.

I pain for her and it pains me even more that some feel the need to pre-empt their post with I dont like her BUT.

That is inhumane and I feel so very sad that we as a as part of the human race cant just wish and hope for someone in their dire hour of need.

How painful -for her and anyone who is also enduring this -my hreat goes out to everyone -she is a brave soldier as she just wants to maintain the equilbrium for her wee boys and also ensure they have a secure future along with dealing with what looks like a lenghty battle against what would appear in her case to be terminal.

I salute her for putting her boys first .

Two years ago, my husband's friend at work, was told he had terminal cancer (of the lung) & only had a few months to live. He was of course very shocked, as was his family.

Two years on & after lots of treatment, he is teaching his wife to drive.

So yes, there's always hope.....

....I sincerely hope that's the case with Jade too & anyone else suffering from the disease.
