Understanding what to do about this guy
4 Answers
Recently i was asked out on a movie date by this guy on my uni course, i like him and he appears to like me so i said yes. On the days up to the date, we spoke to each other on the internet and by texting and he seemed happy that we were going to go to the cinema together. On the morning of the date, he told me on the internet that he was hungover and needed to go into work do some work and that he was sorry, he asked if we could re-schedule the date and i said yes. However, i am unfortunatly prone to over-analysing situations with guys and i now have my doubts about this guy, am i being silly and over analytical or should i be cautious about him?

A lot of women over analyse and usually you put yourself through a lot of grief over nothing. If he's been in touch since then I'd say he wants to see you. If not, then maybe a call or text (just the one!) to see how he is may illicit a response. If he doesn't get in touch then it sounds like he's had a change of heart. Good luck.
I think a cancellation is reasonable, as long as he was apologetic, and has followed through his intention to re-schedule.
If he has left it more than a few days to contact you, assume he has got cold feet, and put it down to experience.
Some guys just back out for no good reason - it's a 'man thing'.
Apologies on behalf of my gender.
