What do you do for fun?

I'm curious as to how others spend their time. What do you do on a daily or weekly basis for fun? Do you get together with friends, go to the movies, out to dinner?

I play in a couple of bands, so I have weekly rehearsals with them. I also take photos, write stories and read books.

I go to a pub quiz once a week with friends, I also go to football quite a lot (I am a season ticket holder). Other things I enjoy doing (maybe on a less regular basis) are swimming, walking, reading, bird watching and getting together with friends.

I write for music magazines, so I go to gigs, interview musicians, watch bands, listen to music, write, and enjoy my passion making me some money.

Other than that, I read constantly, go to the gym, eat out with my family, see my children (two grown up daughters, one with two children) watch TV, spend time with my lovely wifef, and just enjoy being very happy.

Terribly boring, but I love to sneak off to bed on my own and curl up with a great book, then sneak in 2 hours sleep!!

Themed dinner dates with friends each taking it in turn to host and picking ideas out a hat....ie mexican, french, road kill has been done too :) the host has to learn new things ; recipes, drinks, entertainment and the rest have a great night.
