my son has a metal fixator on his leg after breaking it 5 weeks ago, he is tired, losing weight,cant eat,has ulcers in his mouth, cant do his school work properly and is getting fed up, how can i help him its killing me seeing him like this, he is 13

get on your knees next to him, hold his hands and pray to the lord for help. mabey invite some of his friends over to help chear him up. good luck!

he sounds (understandably)a bit low or depressed.
Try the usual cheering up strategies you have, friends etc as suggested by ALLO.
HOWEVER
If you think there is any chance of this being / becoming a clinical depression he needs to speak to a doctor or nurse at your health centre.

Take him to see the Doctor.  His immune system is obviously depessed and the doctor is the one to talk it over with.  Your boy has been through a trauma after a break and then an operation.

Make sure that he gets out in the sunshine when he can and has lots of fresh fruit and veg.  Buy him some CD's and DVD's of his choice pr perhaps a nice new computer game.  And yes, invite some of his friends over.
