how do i break up with sum1 who ive been with for 4 years.. and im the only thing good in his life? he depends on me 4 everything, im his mum,brother,dad, banker manager, cook. he has no family or close friends, im worried if i break up with him, he will do sumthing silly. but its making me un-happy i dont want this type of relationship, im just staying with him cos im scared. what do i do? im too young to have this stress on my head. thanks 4 ur time.x

such a hard situation. you will break it off one day, but maybe you have a lot more misery before you do. not fair on either of you and will only cause more pain. i wish it were as easy as waterboatman states. i hope you find your way.

well, as harsh as it may seem, you have two choices, one choice is to stay with him and make him happy and yourself unhappy OR be honest with him, make the break as amicably as possible and make yourself happy. Who knows? you may even miss him after you've been free for awhile and you're not feeling pressured anymore.

he has to face up to life one day no matter what his circumstances are. he has no-one yet he met you, so he will meet someone else. tell him, i dont think you need to be a bitch but sometimes that helps if he wont take you seriously.

you cannot, not finish with someone incase they do something stupid, that will occurr later in the relationship without a doubt if they are that way inclined.

may take time but be firm and if it is what you need, do not get pulled back in sympathy....good luck
