Does any scientist seriously think that man alone is responsible for global warming? Surely not. This man is grossly exaggerating the statements and message about global warming. Isn't the general view that man makes a contribution,of more than an utterly insignificant amount ,so measures to reduce that contribution are good, but the full extent to which we contribute to global warming is not precisely known?

If "the environment minister should be removed from office for refusing to recognise climate change. then surely we must remove the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer for refusing to recognise that Britain is well and truly in the 5hit.

The issue is that human actions are exacerbating the effect.

It is commonly touted that the exact amount is unknown - these are weasel words

It is not exactly known how much rain will fall in a rainstorm but we know when there will be rain and we know whether it will be mild or severe.

The exact way in which climate change will take effect is unknown but the effect is clear - the Earth is warming substantially and the only way that this can be accounted for is by human action

Now about this politician.

He will have to go not because he doesn't understand Climate Change but because he clearly does not understand collective responsibility.

Carbon Reductions is the policy of the Northern Ireland government and his own party the DUP.

And yet he's decided to go his own way despite this.

It's as if you went into work today and said to your boss "Yes I know what you, your management and the board have said we need to work on but I don't aggree so I'm just going to ignore you and work against you"

Just tell me how mankinf can interffere with the long carbon cycle, holding control of 4% and UK control about 4% of that, Northern Ireland probably 10% of that.

Do you think it's a coincidence that since they were banned by the Montreal protocol that the hole has stopped expanding and started to contract?

Small changes can have large effects especially in climates. It's called non-linear dynamics

Don't forget without the greenhouse effect the Earth would be a frozen mass at -18 degrees instead of 15 degrees so even if it were linear (and it's not) a 4% increase would give you a noticable rise
