anybody know why my lap top screen has suddenly started to go blank for a couple of seconds and then return to normal. This can happen up to 10 times an hour & is not confined to any particular application

if the laptop is getting old then usually it could be down to a connector being loose causing the screen to turn off (either no power or input).

see if by moving the screen about you are able to replicate the problem, if you are then that would be what needs fixed.

if not then i dont know.

Try reloading or updtaing the graphics driver.

If its a Tosh I had the same problem, it was a hardware fault and cost �100 to fix.
