i couldnt get to work last tues as was snowwed in so to cut along story short i work for tesco and when i returned i was questioned and they made me feel like i was a liar . i have my proof photos and video clips . so i wrote a letter after seeing a union rep and asked for a meeting . but because i tolked about it on facebook they said if i take agreviaence on the manager they will do the same about me on facebook ?? i wasnt slagging any one off or mentioned tesco just like how it was and wat was said and how i felt and someone has told them !!! now iver deleted all my friends from tesco lol
where do i stand ?? when i got called in to talk about it the manager was very YOU DONT NEED A REP cause i wanted one ? is he pulling a fast one and stopping me from taking it further so they dont get into trouble as it will go thru head office ?

Are you saying you are being disciplined for not turning up? or disciplined for talking on FB ? If not being disciplined, why bother meeting with them? why ask for a union rep and a meeting if they arent taking it any further? if they have dropped it, you could too. i would imagine there is something in your contract about defaming the company in public or putting it in a bad light, which you did by mentioning it on FB.
does it need to go further? are they going to suspend you or sack you?
if not just drop it and carry on, if they want to take it further then you have the union and your proof.
if you didnt mention the word tesco on fb then there is nothing they can do about it, but your manager threatening to defame you on fb is bullying and illegal.

because i was shown up on theshopfloor the way i was spoken to by a manager with customers walking by and i wanted to prrove i was not a liar as i was disbelieved and questioned for about 20 mins infront of customers . then when i was on fb talking about the situation not mentioning the store or or the managers name someone saw it and told them what i had wrote and obviously added a bit more to it !!! so there saying if i take grevaince out against the manager that showed me up they will take agrevience on me as i was talking work on facebook i suppose !!! i cud understand if i was running tesco or the managers down to the ground but i wasnt !
