Hello folks!

Just a quick one to let you know that the lack of editorial presence this week has been down to the copious amounts of snow we've had

I'm back in the office today, so I'll get through all of your emails and then hopefully put up a blog later.

I hope the weather didn't effect you all too badly, and that you all had a fantastically snowy - yet safe - few days!

She knows we are there for her. My blackies are anyway. Dashing about in spite of the cold to feather their nests :))

shaney of course AB is slow, you simply cannot blame the Ed for it, there is a leaf on the line somewhere!!!!

Leaf on the line? My driver just got out of his cabin in thick fog and a couple of inches of snow to check why there was a signal problem... Now thats dedication.

Either that, or battle in to work whatever, like us committed people. (I have to or they wouldn't pay me)
agree with the first comment by China Doll ... always explain absence by a 'plausible' excuse .... but, too many plausible reasons start to sound hollow ....

lack of editorial presence this week has been down to the copious amounts of snow we've had

have we been stuck in the office or stuck in the home .... either way the offensive crude weekend comments should have been edited .....

someone isnt working any longer .... and the job isnt get done.

such a shame to see another false dawn .... full of opening promise .... should follow scolari out of the door
and this later Ed 'defence' ....

don't have that ability unfortunately - my home IP address changes too much, so I can't get steady access unless other people are in the office

well get a fixed IP address or connected direct to your Office .... after all your home address is the one registered for the website address :-)
I agree with everyone on here who has subtely or unsubtely ridiculed your excuse for it's lameness.
I assume you have lost a few days pay for not turning in like most folk, unless of course you were able to read the advice on the emergency holiday scenarios in the various threads last week.
How many weeks holiday a year do you get BTW? i assume as you have ust started the job it is not a lot for this first year, therefore you would not have had many days holiday to substitute, never mind, you probably took them as authorised absence, which should be unpaid too.
I was also saddened to hear the news from Cetti. -xx-
I wonder if everyone on this thread would be so abusive if they were speaking to the Ed,face to face ?
