Maybe the clue is in the name - shortcut.
I dont do it myself, but with a web site short cut you click on it and it opens the browser and straight away you are on the AB page.
Without the shortcut you have to open the browser, then open the favorites menu, then select the AB link (and if you have hundreds of items on your favorites menu that can take a while).
I have a short cut on my desktop for my browser, so I suppose why not have a short cut to a particular web site that you visit a lot.

Hi Knobsworth.. Last year I said "pity me, I'm 73" Now it's "pity me MORE, I'm 74"!(and losing it I reckon) Have just opened Ebay and right clicked.. Up popped "create shortcut" which i clicked on and lo and behold..... God knows what went wrong when I tried it last night.... Iv'e just found out how "Favourites" works as well! I reckon computers are wonderful things now I fully understand them.... Thanks a lot to all of you for your patience and help, and if theres now anything I can help YOU with, don't hesitate to ask! Cheers, John
