how do i transfer my photos from my kodak easyshare area? when i right click it doesnt like it and totally closes the programme. on the software page itself file, tools etc there is no option to transfer to my vista E: area , even when i try to burn a disc it says either a cd or dvd disk arent compatible. kodak seems to have a copyright of its own. my intention is to copy the photos in the kodak easyshare area ( not easy!) then delete the softward. each time i want to upload my photos from kodak camera i dont want to use their software, im assuming this is possible using just vista windows instead.
just re read your answer, my pictures are no longer on my camera. im trying to get my pictures transferred from the kodak area which doesnt give me an option to do. ive even tried to download to a disc cd and dvd and it says the discs arent compatible. once ive moved the pics i will then uninstall kodak easyshare and use other programmes to upload from camera, thats if kodak will allow it!!
Easyshare is a very good program but some do not like the way it "takes over" though this makes it good for beginners.
Right clicking on an image gives an option of locating the files on your computer.
You can then use them as you wish. It should not crash so updating or reloading is a good idea if that happens.
The pictures, if I can recall will be in my computer/ all users/ pictures/kodak pictures.
If you delete the software do it through the Easyshare site or it will not fully delete.
