hobsonbear's husband here.

our puppy is called floyd after the muppet show character but my wife calls him 'pretty boy floyd' after, she says, a boxer, a gangster and a pop group.  is she right? (sorry don't use the internet much but she left this page on the screen and it's great) alan

There was indeed a shocking glam rock band in the 80s called Pretty Boy Floyd. They "inspired" Ugly Kid Joe's name.
