It might make sense if you said, "If the pillar is now 15 feet tall, how long is the shadow?"
In that case the ratio of pillar height to shadow length would be the same. If x is the shadow length
i.e. 6/2 = 3.
Then 15/x = 3
So 15/3 = x = 5 feet.
