i have residencey of my grandson and have done for 2 years this is because my daughter neglected him she has also served a prison sentance for this as he was hurt. when i got residencey social services discharged us and left me to make the decisions where my grandson was concerned i went from supervised access to her having him for 3 afternoons a week. however only on the conditions she carried out certain things. she has however broken this arrangement and again put him at risk and i stopped contact again. i don't want to do this but there is no talking to her she claims to be perfect but and still thinks she is perfect where he is concerned. this is so worrying for us all. but i have learnt today that she has been told by my solicitor that she has a good case to have him back soory to go on but my question is - is the solicitor i used to get resisencey able to now represent my daughter ? i welcome your replies thank you
i have spoken to social services and they advised me to stop contact again this is where i am now confused she apparently has been to see my solicitor and has been told she has a good case----not. i have the proof but this is where i am very confused as the case was closed over 12 months ago is she able to use the solicitor that i used????
again thank you
no she shouldnt so i would report him to the law society in writing, What age is your grandson??his views will be relevant in any proceedings.Inspite of the turmoli it is important your grandson continues to have access with his mum even if it is supervised. Perhaps shorter visits say once a week for two hours
thank you for your answers it has been a great help. as for the access i agree totally that he should see his mum he will be 4 in march.
she however is totally unco-operative will not talk or listen all she does is rant and rave and be verbally abusive in front of him it is not nice or fair in fornt of this little boy it is such a shame.
i will the solicitor in the morning and see what is happening.
