I want to get back to work

I would like to know where i can get funding to get me on a refesher course for my FLT.
My partener and I are recieving tax credits as my girlfriend has a part-time job, and I was the one to stay at home and look after the kids, our youngest is nearly in full time, and I am desperate to get back to work.
We cant afford the fee's so does anyone have any ideas?

There are 2 types that I am aware of - Discretionary Support Funds and Career Development Loans. The latter as the name suggests, has to be paid back later.

I assumed (probably wrongly) that it meant Future Long Term. Fork Lift Truck seems more likely.
