stokemaveric,
you are to be congratulated and admired.
I only wish more people would start to think as you do i.e. of OTHERS as well as themselves.
I, for many years, taught "handicapped" children and every day thought and prayed for their parents( in many cases only mother, because the father had left not being able to cope with the realities of having a child with such difficulties).
I now have a severely autistic grandson.
The problems, worries, sresses, exhaustion, feelings of inadequacy, despair etc. which caused me to have a nervous breakdown as a teacher are as nothing compared to what the parents of such children cope with in non-school hours and in holiday periods.
PLEASE, PLEASE !! ..listen to stokemaveric, go to gromitdoo's link, SIGN ON and persuade your friends (e- or otherwise) to do likewise.
Thank you
