Can anyone explain why e-mails sent almost at the speed of light take hours for them to arrive? Even if I send it to myself it still takes just as long
Yes I sometimes worry about MI5. Its so easy to get caught up in a web of cloak and dagger snoops. Even telling the truth puts your name on the list. I wonder how people like AOG get away with some of the comments. No one is safe! Better to keep your thoughts to yourselves, you may upset someone. The British public are being gagged.
Not that I support the BNP but the fact that they have won an election in the South with 41% of the votes shows in a democracy the problem of immigration will not go away by ignoring it.
Jut to add: they don't get delivered at anywhere near the speed of light. This is a fallacy.
To get around, like any other traffic on the internet, they get routed through various servers. These servers are probably routing other traffic too, so may take a second to get to your email in its queue.
However, 'hours' isn't quite right. This suggests something is a little wrong.
I can send an email to myself, or from someone else, and get it within 10 seconds or so. Not too bad.
