Yep Its a soup thread again!!
Looking for a homemade tried and tested pea and ham soup recipe,not made with fresh peas but the dried variety, i remember this from my childhood blinkin delicious!!!!

This is an easy one

All I do is soak some bacon ribs overnight in cold water.
Soak packet of peas overnight.
Put peas and ribs in large pan cover with water and simmer for a couple of hours til the meat falls from the bones. If you wish you could add onions and a carrot. Also you could substitute the bacon ribs with a ham shank.
Simple and tasty
