cartoon character??

Does anyone know what the name of this cartoon character - he(?) is a blue aardvark(?) with a long nose and looks really grumpy!!  A friend recently bought a charity badge with him on it and it is driving me mad what the cartoon is?    TIA. x

I remember seeing him on episodes of the Pink Panther when I was little - According to this website he dosen't have a name though....

The animated cartoons went by the title "The Ant and The Aardvark", and indeed, he didn't have a name.

The cartoons were shown as part of the TV series "The Pink Panther Show".
